Memoirs of my travels to various and sometimes forgotten places on the map. I search for the unknown, the abandoned, the odd..and of course all the beauty and mystery that goes along with it. I will experience and then record my encounters with the notion that ..maybe..perhaps...this blog will entertain you...even if for just a few moments. Welcome to Bardstown and The Old Jail
We arrived in Bardstown today and checked into the old Jail bed n breakfast. The rain held off and we were able to stroll the historic streets of this town. The jail is said to be one of the top ten most haunted places in America and yep.. We opted to stay the night there and of course chose the room once used as the "upstairs dungeon" where the most violent and dangerous of criminals were held and supposedly tortured.
